Here is an eclectic list of award-winning software. If you see a program that you like, all you have to do is download it and install it. These programs are not only great, they're also free for you to use, forever! As you will see, the talented authors who wrote the following programs are from all over the world.
The first program is TreePad Lite v2.9.4, a wonderful organizing program by Henk Hagerdoorn. His company is Freebyte, located in the Netherlands.
Another super organizing program is KeyNote v1.5.3, by Marek Jedlinski, who does programming as a hobby. He is from Lodz, Poland. KeyNote is very feature rich.
Eric Nitzsche, the author, describes Scrap Book v2.06 as "...a free-form database program that manages text lists of all kinds. The unstructured nature of the program makes it easy to type first and organize later. It can be used as a phone book, URL outliner, file launcher, to-do list, or a multiple page clipboard."
A top-notch text editor is NoteTab Light v4.9, available from Fookes Software, the company of Eric Fookes. It is based in Geneva, Switzerland.
Ipswitch makes a great FTP client: WS_FTP LE v5.08. Not only can you download the program, FTPplanet.com also offers free tutorials on how to install the software and how to use it.
Bottin v2.12 is a first-rate address book. The author is a Frenchman by the name of Philippe Mignard.
